Koko Sushi: Experience Freshness and Flavor in Every Bite

I was craving sushi and based on their large number of five star reviews on yelp I thought I would try this new place. I’m very glad I did the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I really enjoyed the garlic Edamame and the extra juice poured on the Koko roll was amazing! I enjoyed the Dragon roll as well. I was truly shocked that this place wasn’t packed, with the quality of the food and service combined with super low prices I’m shocked more people haven’t tried this place.

If I give Luke the glowing review he deserves, it will become overcrowded and hard to get into. So stay home, hahaha. It's difficult to find a quality sushi bar with top-notch 'wagyu' sushi. The carpaccio is outstanding and much more. The chefs (Luke, Jose, Effrin) all do amazing work, and the owner deserves praise for sourcing high-quality fish. When I'm not in the mood for cold sushi, the yellowtail cheeks are the best in Orange County. The price is also best you'll find in ALL of OC. All jokes aside, this restaurant is truly excellent. It's owned by a very kind man and is a local favorite in a small part of Orange County. Luke, bring in Monk Fish Liver and Yamakakai Tuna and I'll be here daily.

Food was outstanding and so was the service. We took a star off due to the atmosphere and the state of the restrooms. With the just the food and service warrants us coming back.

Quick and great service. The sushi was fresh. We got the Koko roll, California roll, dragon roll, and toto . All were delicious and would recommend.

I found Koko Sushi on a happy accident! I started with cold sake, I had two bottles that were equally tasty and reasonably priced. Next I had scallop, salmon, and tuna sushi. The rice was absolutely amazing! Flavorful, fresh, and the fish was really good too. The portion of fish complimented the rice really well. I had two cut rolls salmon lemon, which was the perfect blend of tart and savory. It's filled with avocado, carrots, and cucumber. There was just the right amount of lemon on each piece so that it isn't overpowering. Next, I had a standard Caterpillar roll. So good! The rice was so fresh and the eel was really tasty. I finished my meal with more salmon sushi (so so good!) and yellowtail sushi. Overall everything was fresh and very delicious. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

José is the most artistically creative sushi chef we have ever come across and had the pleasure of being served by! His sushi creations are amazingly flavorful and to die for! Definitely suggest letting him pick for you, if you would like to try something new! I can't say enough nice things about this place. Its reasonably priced, and all the staff are nice and courteous. Love the yuzu pepper!!

Each piece of sushi was fresh, delicious and amazing. We will absolutely be coming back next time we're in town. I would especially recommend the eel and toro.
